The raw organic beauty make over

Are you ready to par-tay?

With New Year’s Eve almost upon us I thought it would be rude not to share some of my top tips for a great evening!

Because I’m a girly-girl (well, sometimes), I’ve put together a low histamine beauty make-up tutorial to go with the Low Histamine Beauty Survival Guide.

In it I show how to put to good use all the great pure low histamine make up brands I cover in the book (RMS Beauty, 100% Pure and others), as well as the antihistamine and anti-inflammatory goodies I’ve researched.

Join my mailing list for more recipes and to be the first to know when registration for my low histamine webinar opens!

Take a peek at my low histamine and antihistamine cookbooks for more high nutrient recipes.

If you’ve found this information useful I’d appreciate your support (at no extra cost to you!) – please check out my online store for your health foods, supplements, kitchen items and beauty product purchases. Affiliate sales through my online store go towards maintaining the website, funding travel to interviews and purchasing all the lovely foods for my free online recipes. You’ll find these items in the “Shop with us” drop down menu on my homepage.

Please don’t forget antihistamine, pain killing foods can still hurt us, so please always check with your doctor before adding new foods to your diet.

This was great Yasmina. I am a girls girl too and in the process of going up my beloved Bobbi Brown. Having to find all new products and figure out how to make to make them work is time consuming but rewarding each time something clicks into place!

Hi Yasmina! I have been living with HIT for about a year now and have come such a long way with your help. HIT ignited my passion for holistic health, healing nutrition and nontoxic makeup. I quit my accounting job, am going back to school and started a blog (www.vivianmadeline.com). You’ve been a huge inspiration to me in terms of how I approach food & how I’ve helped myself recover & heal through food.
Have you read any research on the safety of hydrogenated oils in makeup? It’s well established that ingesting these oils causes cancer, but what about topically? Unfortunately I have to mention that some clean brands (even 100% pure) use hydrogenated oils. A rule I abide by is not to use any lip products that have these oils but to let it slide with other items (eye makeup etc)

REgarding RMS “un” cover up…are you aware that it contains [+/- Titanium Dioxide CI 77891, Iron Oxides CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499? If its in the mineral form I am all for it, but I highly doubt it. ALso the first ingredient is coconut oil..and many of women break out from coconut oil. one doesn’t fit all ! 🙂

Hi love, yes of course, I cover it all in my beauty book. At the end of the day, we need to decide how fanatical we’re going to be, and how each brand measures up against others. On the whole, RMS is a far cleaner brand than most I have found. Many women I know don’t break out from coconut oil, as you say, one doesn’t fit all. I have always preferred not to put out the idea that something may bother people because of the power of the nocebo effect. I saw it happen many times in the early days with myself and my readers. On a more practical level, if I was to say: “Some people may react to coconut oil or X” every single time I spoke of products or foods it would be half of my blog post…but most important is the idea that if you look hard enough you can find fault with pretty much everything that goes on or in the body. That was me in the old days and I was pretty miserable in the end 🙁 Now I just decide to focus on the overall goodness of something and make it work for me if it makes me happy to eat or wear it xo
